Report columns: Display columns filter
These are the columns that display when Stock aged WITHIN each period (e.g. Value of stock between 3 and 6 months) has been selected in the Display columns filter.
The value or quantity represents the amount of stock that has been purchased (or added to stock) within the period shown but not yet consumed. For example, an ageing period of 4-6 years will represent the quantity or value of inventory that was bought between 4 and 6 years ago but has not yet been consumed.
These columns vary depending on the Period and frequency filter. The value of the columns depends on the Period length filter, as the calculated number and units directly corresponds with the values added to this filter.
For example, if the Period length filter is set as 3 weeks, these columns will display in three week-increments.
The number of displayed columns depends on the # periods filter, with the number of columns corresponding to the number added to this filter, plus one extra column.
For example, if the # periods filter is set as 3, there will be 4 columns that display.
Here is an example of the columns that would display if the Period and frequency was 3 years and 2 periods.
These are the columns that display when Stock aged OVER each period (e.g. Value of stock >6 months old) has been selected in the Display columns filter.
The value or quantity represents the amount of stock that has been purchased (or added to stock) more than the period shown but not yet consumed. For example, an ageing period of > 6 years will represent the quantity or value of inventory that was bought over 6 years ago but has not yet been consumed.
These columns vary depending on the Period and frequency filter. The value of the columns depends on the Period length filter, as the calculated number and units directly corresponds with the values added to this filter.
For example, if the Period length filter is set as 3 weeks, these columns will display in three week-increments.
The number of displayed columns depends on the # periods filter, with the number of columns directly corresponding to the number added to this filter.
For example, if the # periods filter is set as 3, there will be 3 columns that display.
Here is an example of the columns that would display if the Period and frequency was 3 years and 2 periods.
These are the columns that display when Stock aged UNDER each period (e.g. Value of stock <=6 months old) has been selected in the Display columns filter.
The value or quantity represents the amount of stock that has been purchased (or added to stock) less than the period shown but not yet consumed. For example, an ageing period of Aged up to 6 years will represent the quantity or value of inventory that was bought within the last 6 years but has not yet been consumed.
These are the columns that display when Show value/quantity in stock at the end of each period has been selected in the Display columns filter.
The value or quantity represents the amount of stock that has been purchased (or added to stock) by the end of the period shown but not yet consumed. For example, an ageing period of Value 6 years ago will represent the quantity or value of inventory that was in stock 6 years ago.
These are the columns that display when Show amounts IN, OUT and NET for each period has been selected in the Display columns filter.
The IN value or quantity represents the amount of stock that has been purchased (or added to stock) during the period shown. The OUT value or quantity represents the amount of stock that has been consumed (or removed from stock) during the period shown. The NET value or quantity represents the value or quantity of stock that was purchased but not consumed during the period shown. This column is calculated using the IN value or quantity for the period less the OUT value or quantity for the period.
The NET column is unique in this report as it represents the difference between the purchased and consumed stock during the period, not the total value or quantity in stock during the period. For example, if 10 units were purchased (IN column), and 5 units were consumed (OUT column), then the NET quantity would be 5. However, if the value in stock before the period was 10, then the Quantity at the end of the period would total 15.
These columns vary depending on the Period and frequency filter. The value of the columns depends on the Period length filter, as the calculated number and units directly corresponds with the values added to this filter.
For example, if the Period length filter is set as 3 weeks, these columns will display in three week-increments.
The number of displayed columns depends on the # periods filter, with the number of columns corresponding to the number added to this filter multiplied by 3.
For example, if the # periods filter is set as 3, there will be 9 columns that display.
Here is an example of the columns that would display if the Period and frequency was 3 years and 2 periods.
These are the columns that display when Deduct Qty Committed to show age of stock less CURRENT commitments has been selected in the Display columns filter. The value of these columns depends on whether the report is displaying By Value or By Quantity as selected in the Value to display filter.
